Welcome to our Web site. Whether
you are visiting us as a Runner,
Volunteer, Sponsor,
Spectator or Donor, we’d
like to thank you all for your interests, and
encourage everyone to come out and participate
in this year’s commemorative event.
Update: Click
here to see race times for the 236 registered
runners that participated in the event.
Paul A. Hale, beloved son, devoted
husband, loving father, dedicated serviceman,
and avid runner, was killed on July 11, 1997 while
serving as a detective for the City of Raleigh.
His two surviving daughters, Jessie and Stephie,
have organized The Paul Hale Memorial Run event
to pay tribute to the honorable life he and other
fallen serviceman like him lived and the ultimate
sacrifices they made for the betterment of the
community in which we live. All proceeds from
the run will benefit The
200 Club of Wake County.
The 5k
Run and Fun Run/Walk will begin on July 14,
2007 at the Bedford at Falls River Recreation
Center in Raleigh, NC. Please join the Hale girls
and your community as we remember their father,
get some exercise, catch up with friends and neighbors,
and enjoy a few refreshments. Registered Runners
will also take home an official Paul Hale Memorial
Run commemorative event t-shirt and other goodies
donated by our generous sponsors.
This event is a great way for
those of you who knew Paul, remember his
Story, or wish to contribute to the events
worthy cause to show
your support for local law enforcement, and the
families of our fallen servicemen in need.
